Teasing Master Takagi-san Premise

“Teasing Master Takagi-san” revolves around the daily interactions between middle school students Nishikata and Takagi, who sit next to each other in class. Takagi finds joy in teasing Nishikata with embarrassing pranks and jokes, while Nishikata continually attempts to seek revenge but often fails as Takagi outsmarts him by identifying his weaknesses. Takagi, portrayed by Rie Takahashi in Japanese and Sarah Wiedenheft (seasons 1 and 3) and Kayli Mills (season 2) in English, is depicted as a mischievous girl who takes pleasure in teasing Nishikata. Despite initially claiming that she doesn’t have any romantic feelings for him, subtle hints throughout the series suggest otherwise.Nishikata, voiced by Yuki Kaji in Japanese and Aaron Dismuke (seasons 1 and 3) and Billy Kametz (season 2) in English, is Takagi’s seatmate and the constant target of her teasing. While he often schemes to get back at Takagi, his plans are usually foiled due to her keen insight and quick thinking.
