International Law Survey:  Bollywood actor Sonu Sood finds himself featured in an international law survey alongside Barack Obama, Angelina Jolie, and David Beckham. Sood’s remarkable journey from silver screen hero to real-life saviour has captivated hearts globally, particularly with his philanthropic work during the COVID-19 crisis, where he is best known for assisting migrant workers and the marginalized. As Sood will be seen for his directorial debut in the upcoming action-packed film “Fateh,” co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez.

Sonu Sood, born on July 30, 1973, is a actor in the Indian entertainment industry, known for his roles as an actor, film producer, model, and philanthropist. His career spans across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada cinema, where he has gained recognition for portraying negative characters in many of his films. Throughout his career, Sood has received numerous awards and accolades for his outstanding performances. Some notable achievements include winning the Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Award for Best Villain and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Telugu for his role in the Telugu blockbuster “Arundhati” in 2009. He also received response for his negative role in the Bollywood film “Dabangg,” earning him the Apsara Award and IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role in 2010. Apart from acting, Sood has ventured into film production with his production house, Shakti Sagar Productions, established in July 2016. He has also been actively involved in humanitarian work, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. In September 2020, he was honored with the ‘SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award’ by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for his exceptional contributions during the pandemic. Sood’s philanthropic efforts extend beyond the entertainment industry. He founded the Sood Charity Foundation, aiming to assist people from all walks of life. One of the foundation’s flagship initiatives is SANKALP, a free law entrance coaching program providing academic guidance and resources to underprivileged candidates preparing for CLAT and AILET exams. In addition to his charitable activities, Sood has been actively involved in disaster relief efforts. Following a train accident in Odisha’s Balasore, he launched a helpline for the victims and urged the government to establish a relief fund to support those affected by the tragedy.
