Vishwakarma Awards 2024: At the 15th Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC), SJVN Limited awarded with  ‘Achievement Award for Creating Social Development & Impact’ and the ‘CIDC Partners in Progress Trophy. Geeta Kapur, the Chairperson and Managing Director of SJVN, accepted the award and appreciated SJVN’s dedication to creating a meaningful impact on the society it serves. SJVN Limited or Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam is an Indian public sector undertaking involved in hydroelectric power generation and transmission.

SJVN had 3 subsidiaries including SJVN Arun-3 Power Development Company Pvt Ltd (SAPDC), SJVN Thermal Private Limited (STPL) & SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL). SJVN Arun-3 Power Development Company Pvt Ltd (SAPDC), focuses on harnessing hydroelectric power from the Arun River in Nepal. SJVN has had 2 other subsidiaries SJVN Thermal Private Limited (STPL), contributing to India’s energy requirement.
