  1. Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) in Gujarat:
  • Type: Semiconductor fabrication facility
  • Investment: Rs 91,000 crore
  • Chip production commencement: Expected by 2026
  • Partners: Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) and Taiwan’s Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC)
  • Energy Source: Powered by renewable energy
  • Water Supply: Dedicated supply from Narmada river canal
  1. Morigaon, Assam:
  • Type: Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility
  • Investment: Rs 27,000 crore
  • Developer: Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL)
  • Target Markets: Electric vehicles, automotive, mobile phones, and power devices
  1. Sanand, Gujarat:
  • Type: Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility
  • Investment: Rs 7,500 crore
  • Developer: CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited
  • Scheme: Established under the Modified Scheme for Semiconductor Assembly, Testing, Marking and Packaging (ATMP)
