IIT Madras for Pollution Monitoring: About the Project

In order to address the limitations of traditional stationary monitoring stations, while providing valuable insights for policy-making and mitigation strategies for pollution , a prestigious research organization had developed an innovative approach which through data science, Internet of Things (IoT) technology, and low-cost pollution sensors mounted on public vehicles.  provide real-life insights regarding pollution. Under the project named  Kaatru (meaning “air” in Tamil) is aimed to address the limitation of traditional pollution solutions ,which will develop better solutions for future India.
