Disney+ Hotstar’s “Showtime” follows the Viktory Studios, Set in Mumbai which is one of Bollywood’s biggest production houses, hidden behind a long history of secrets. Viktor Khanna (Naseeruddin Shah), the studio’s owner of Viktory Studios gets old but he d doesn’t trust his son Raghu Khanna (Emraan Hashmi) and doesn’t want to pass his business, leading to familial conflict between both. The turning point comes when Raghu’s film, “Pyaar Dangerous,” receives a demeaning review from journalist Mahika Nandy played by Mahima Makwana who later gets exposed she was bribed to give a positive review by Victory Studios. In a shocking twist, Viktor calls Mahika to his office and reveals later to her that her father Viktor Khanna just before taking his own life, transferred the ownership of the Viktory Studios, to her, as she is his granddaughter of Viktor Khanna.
